I spent a month staying at Trinity Guesthouse in Uganda this summer (2011) I stayed in the single room which was basic but comfortable. The guesthouse has a small lounge area ….lovely for relaxing at the end of the day, a small kitchen with basic utensils and cooking facilities and a shower room/toilet.
The owners of Trinity are friendly and very welcoming, always ready to assist you throughout your stay. The choice to prepare your own food or join the main house for meals is great and gives you a chance to be as dependent or independent as you want.
Whether you are looking for a place to stay for a couple of nights or for a longer visit Trinity is the place to stay – easy access to the center of town and lots of local amenities within walking distance. You couldn’t find better for less !

I had THE most amazing time in Africa! I can’t believe I managed to do and see so many things in just 3 short weeks (Safari at Murchison Falls and 5 day in Rwanda). The staff at Trinity (Prince and Sonya) were just amazing. They listened to what I wanted to do, and put together a package just for me. It was such a relief being met at the airport by Sonya on my arrival – it was like arriving home to a long lost friend and definitely took the stress and worry out of travelling.

My experience with Trinity was second to none. The people there are as hospitable as any you’ll find around the world and the accommodations went far beyond my expectations in comfort, sense of community, and security, at an extremely affordable price. There’s no doubt that I’ll be using Trinity in my future travels to East Africa.

Thanks again for everything. I really did love my time hanging out with you all in Kiwatule and I’m hoping to make my way back some day.

Great atmosphere, we felt completely comfortable from the moment we moved in!! Everyone at the guest house felt like family, and we loved the awesome chance to get to know them while we were there! When you’re staying in a foreign country far away from all you know and love, the best thing in the World is to be able to come back every night to a wonderful guesthouse where everyone and everything feels like home. We would DEFINITELY stay here again!
